Sea Sisters Cannery x Poon's London

I met Angus @legrandgoose on our first sauce shoot, before we even had a website to put the pics on. We talked of this and that and canning fish, which I thought was fascinating. 

Eight months later, he called to ask if I could cook and send a batch of chilli oil as he was about to acquire a glut of clams. I remember this because he messaged me on what was possibly the hottest day of the year.  On 19th July 2022, I posted "Making chilli oiI for a special collaboration in the dead of night as it was just too darn hot during the day..." 

Almost three years on, I am absolutely thrilled to share that this special collaboration has finally come to fruition! POON'S X SEA SISTERS are launching two labours of love - Welsh cockles and Lyme Bay mussels in Poon’s Extraordinary Chilli Oil. Thank you, Charlotte and Angus, and the utterly brilliant team at @seasistersuk for making this happen. As John Wooden said, "good things take time..."
